May 27, 2013 at 1:24 comment added neofutur Ripple is offtopic here, they need their own stackexchange and stop spamming here, imo altchains are welcome, but ripple is not an altchain anf have nothing to do here, even if the ripple guys are very good at marketing and manipulation.
Mar 18, 2013 at 8:58 comment added Emre K. I'm not saying talking about Ripple is bad or inappropriate. Please talk to your hearts content where ever you want. This SE is not the place for it. I'm just saying using this SE to promote Ripple is inappropriate.
Mar 18, 2013 at 5:10 comment added nealmcb The world of alternative currencies and alternative money exchanges is still very new. There are good arguments for why ripple might succeed or might fail, and arguments for why it might be great for bitcoin, and arguments for why it might be bad for bitcoin, etc etc. There are arguments for why it might be a boon to the developers, and arguments for why it might be a way bigger boon to the world, in a way that would make whatever profit they make from it all a drop in the bucket compared to its overall positive impact. So I doubt that talking about it here is bad or inappropriate.

Mar 6, 2013 at 18:25 comment added Nick ODell "These accounts are most probably owned by people who have a stake in Ripple or OpenCoin or whatever." Not only is this an ad hominem, but it's also not falsifiable. In other words, there is no way for me to prove that I don't own OpenCoin stock.
